Hollywood and Race

With the release of BlacKKKlansman from acclaimed director Spike Lee, August's edition of Talking Movies will look at Hollywood's portrayal of race. Lee's film is inspired by the true story of an African-America police detective who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan. The programme will ask whether or not Hollywood's telling of stories to do with race is improving.
