War Movies

Tied to the release of the big budget Hollywood picture Dunkirk, starring Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh, Talking Movies will devote a special programme to war films. The show will look at how the genre has changed through the ages and find out to what extent are war films a response to the geopolitical realties at the time in which they are made.
