What happens in Vegas...
Click looks at whether we might one day drive on solar roads and explores the hacker conventions in Las Vegas looking into cyber security.
Recently, the UK joined other major countries with a pledge to phase out the combustion engine and join the electric car revolution. Sceptics pointed out for a real push in this area, they need far more charging points. Others though think there could be another way: making roads themselves provide power to electric vehicles. Click looks at efforts in the UK and in France where experiments are making roads from solar panels, which in turn charge moving vehicles. The team also looks at the latest developments in Lidar technology - the engine room of self-driving cars. Finally, from the hacker conference in Las Vegas, DEFCON, Click looks at the hacker's guide to Vegas and explores quantum encryption.
