Scars

Britain has the highest self-harm rate in Europe and the number of young girls harming themselves has doubled in the last few years. Becci and Sarah are two young women who have stopped self-harming and now bear the scars from their cutting. They face judgment every day from strangers who spot their injuries. The BBC's 100 Women team follow them as they meet Babs - a one-of-a-kind make-up artist - to see if they can take back control of how the world sees them. Some viewers may find parts of this film upsetting.
