Who Are We?

What makes us who we are? How we understand ourselves - our self-identity? Especially when we live in a country we weren't born in. Why do some of us feel we have multiple identities according to where we live, or have lived, our race, religion, sexuality, experience of war, exile or political repression. And does it make sense to still talk about national identities in a globalised world?
