Middle Sea Race

An off shore classic comprising a breath-taking circuit at the ancient heart of the Mediterranean, the Middle Sea race, a race which traditionally heralds the conclusion of the Mediterranean off-shore season, commences and concludes in historic Valetta. For the 36th occasion a cosmopolitan fleet numbering over 100 vessels take on this classic adventure. The 606-nautical mile route takes in the Straits of Messina, the deep, azure waters of Sicily, the islands of Pantelleria and Lampedusa and Stomboli's active volcano as a mark rounding.
