Fastnet Race

One of Sailing's greatest contests, The Rolex Fastnet Race celebrates its 90th anniversary. A sporting institution, Europe's oldest offshore race, run biennially, entails a gripping and demanding 608 mile odyssey from Cowes on the Isle of Wight to Plymouth via the Fastnet Rock, off Ireland's southern tip. A record fleet of 356 yachts takes part in the offshore challenge that remains a rite of passage for any sailor.
