Right now Italy is at the forefront of a humanitarian crisis which has exposed wishful thinking, indecision and division within the European Union. It's a crisis prompted by the desperation of hundreds of thousands of migrants fleeing war and economic misery to reach Europe's shores. Europe doesn't want them but cannot simply watch many of them die at sea. Stephen Sackur speaks to Paolo Gentiloni, Italy's Foreign Minister. Can Europe find a response to match the scale of the migration challenge?
