Hot on Sasuke's trail, Shikamaru and his squad get caught up in a web of unparalleled chakra when they tangle with the six-armed Kidomaru.
Assuming that the Leaf squad could never get past Jirobo, the remaining Sound ninja don’t bother to lay traps along the way. Taking advantage of that, Shikamaru disguises himself as Jirobo and catches up with the Sound. But they see through him right away, and Shikamaru gets tangled in Kidomaru’s web.
