Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast

Today they host a significant album anniversary show, celebrating albums released around this time in February over the decades. Among the albums they celebrate and play tracks from are Belle & Sebastian’s ‘The Life Pursuit’ and J’ Dilla’s ‘Donuts’ both of which are 20 years old this month; The Fugees' ‘The Score’ which is 30; Field Music’s ‘Commontime’ album, which is 10; and Tears For Fears' Songs From The Big Chair, which is 40. There are further album anniversary tracks from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, and Janet Jackson too!

Also on the show ... long-running feature ‘The Chain’ which gives listeners the chance to pick a track that links in some way to the last. The list now contains over 8700 songs. There’s also the chance to take part in ‘Tea Time Theme Time’, guessing the link between three top tunes.

With a selection of music old and new to get the weekend started.
