Sweet Treats, Bling and a Bear

It’s the final run-out for Ishy and Hettie, as they point their bright red Porsche towards Northumberland. Ishy takes a fancy to a quirky French tobacco jar and a sparkly piece of jewellery, bought more for the box than the bling. Hettie gets to grips with a substantial punchbowl and falls for a cuddly companion. They cross the border into Scotland to hear the story of a remarkable 17th-century woman, whose detailed household accounts contain the first written recipe for a famous Scottish sugary treat. Then it’s off to auction one last time to see who can deliver the sweetest profit.
