Welcome to a brand-new year, 2026! And this series of OJ's All the Sixes One Hit Wonders, starting in 1986 which was the year of Neighbours launching on BBC One after being on-air in Australia for a year, and one of the greatest movies of all time - Top Gun.

In this episode, you'll hear tracks from a backing singer for Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Sting and Anita Baker - Vesta Williams. Also Dermot O'Leary's favourite One Hit Wonder from Nu Shooz, and the only UK hit for Greek singer Nana Mouskouri, Yamas!
