Today we hear a treasured archive recording of Alfred Brendel playing Beethoven’s Emperor Piano Concerto with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra in Munich. Plus, we have piano music from one of the prize winners from the 2024 Leeds International Piano Competition: the Vietnamese pianist Khanh Nhi Luong, performs Henri Dutilleux's Piano Sonata in a concert recorded last month at London’s Wigmore Hall. Plus there's orchestral music from Vaughan-Williams and Robert Schumann.
