Melford's Christmas spirit evaporates following a high-level break-in and fire at the church hall, supposedly started by vandals.

The season of peace and goodwill in the small town of Melford seems a million miles away when a series of deaths begins on Christmas Eve.

Could they be linked? The overworked local police are joined by a sinister agency.

Written in six parts by ‘Inspector Frost’ creator RD Wingfield, under the pseudonym ‘Arthur Jefferson’.
