Flu 'particularly bad this year' - respiratory consultant

A respiratory consultant based at Altnagelvin Hospital says the flu is 'particularly bad this year' and hasn't yet reached it's peak. Dr Martin Kelly spoke to North West Today as a ward in Altnagelvin was closed to new admissions due to the flu and the Western Trust appealed for more staff to come on duty to cover shifts.
And the Principal of Nazareth House Primary School confirms that pupils will not be able to return to classes there before Christmas.
More than 200 pupils remain at home for a second week, after safety concerns over the building's roof forced the school to close.
