Belfast actor Ciarán Hinds on why he's backing Northern Ireland talent for Oscar glory & Leo Moran of The Saw Doctors

Oscar & BAFTA nominated Northern Irish actor Ciarán Hinds has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including directors Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg. He joins Anna to talk about why he’s now backing the work of emerging Northern Irish talent in a new short film called ‘Three Keenings’.

The film’s director Oliver McKittrick also joins Anna to talk about what inspired him to make a film about an ancient Irish mourning ritual. And how his parents ended up catering for the crew on the film set!
