Sam Ryder - Eurovision star, live favourite and arguably the nicest man in music - is the latest guest for The Radio 2 Piano Room's run of autumn performances.

Sam will be performing a classic, a new track and a very special Queen cover with with the BBC Concert Orchestra, directed by conductor/arranger Richard Sidwell.

First finding fame on YouTube during lockdown, Sam shot to galactic new heights when he came within a whisker of winning Eurovision for the UK back in 2022. Since then, he's released his debut album, hosted a New Year's Eve show for BBC1, performed FOR The Queen and sang WITH Queen, all the while earning a reputation as one of the industry's good guys.

Sam's just released his second album, 'Heartland', and he's recently been on his 'Road To Wembley' tour, playing intimate venues around the UK before finishing at Wembley Arena.
