Feel-good tunes to make you groove. 'Dr. Beat' is also on hand to prescribe a perfect tune for Sara Cox who started her epic 5 day Children in Need challenge this morning!

Feel-good dancefloor favourites, hidden gems and fresh new tunes to make you groove. DJ Spoony serves up a brilliant selection of soulful house, classic soul, disco, RnB, UK Garage, Reggae, hip hop, doo-wop, funk, dance remixes, and much more. Our genial host also unveils his ‘New 2 Spoon’ record of the week and shares a fantastic ‘Monday Mashup’, two tracks blended together to delight and surprise in equal measure!

Spoony’s alter-ego ‘Dr Beat’ is also on hand to prescribe a musical pick-me-up for Sara Cox, who has embarked on her epic journey of five marathons across five days all to raise money for BBC Children in Need’s 2025 Appeal. Her challenge is to travel on foot (running, walking or jogging) from Kielder Forest in Northumberland to Pudsey in Leeds, with a Pudsey bear backpack, so she can get Pudsey to Pudsey! Sara's total distance is 135 miles, that's a marathon every day! You can follow the action on BBC Radio 2, BBC Sounds, via our social channels (Radio 2’s Instagram, TikTok and Facebook), our Live Blog AND our Live Tracker.

The ‘Midnight Feast’ track wraps up the show. Think big production, lush orchestration, and the best voices in the business!
