Expressing Gratitude
After her mum told her that she has decided to donate her body when she dies, Lucy speaks to families whose loved ones made the same decision, to find out how they feel about it.
When BBC Wales' Lucy Owen's mum told her that she will be donating her body to Cardiff University for education and training when she dies, Lucy realised that she didn't know anything about body donation.
In this episode, Lucy learns that they hold a memorial event for the families of the donors every year where the students express their gratitude through poems, artwork and music. Lucy also speaks to families whose loved ones have made the decision to donate and finds out how they feel about it.
