Scuba Diver in Danger

In Plymouth, the crew respond to a mayday call - the highest level of emergency at sea - for a diver who has lost consciousness during a 30-metre dive to a shipwreck.

In Plymouth, the crew respond to a mayday call - the highest level of emergency at sea - for a scuba diver who has lost consciousness during a 30-metre dive to a shipwreck. When the lifeboat crews respond to a medical emergency, they know that every second could make the difference between life and death.

Along the south coast, both of Hayling Island’s lifeboats are launched to search for two jet skiers who have been reported missing - with no phone signal and the light fading rapidly. In Brighton, a member of the public has called the coastguard after watching a yacht with a torn mainsail struggling to make any headway. And in Llandudno, North Wales, the crew are faced with reports of a dog - and its owner - struggling in the water.
