Day 8: Women's Heptathlon, 20km Race Walks

The penultimate day of the World Athletics Championships sees Katarina Johnson-Thompson continue the defence of her heptathlon world title with the fifth of seven events, the long jump. The men’s decathlon gets under way as well with the 100 metres, long jump and shot put.

Elsewhere, the final two road events take place on the streets of Tokyo as champions are crowned in the men and women’s 20km walks, which both start and finish in the National Stadium.
