EtrA in session

EtrA is Strabane-based electronic music producer, singer and songwriter Ruth Corey. Ruth’s music is shaped by a background in folk, experimental choral performance and leftfield club culture. She was the opening act at the New Gate Arts & Culture Centre for BBC Radio Ulster’s coverage of the final Celtronic Festival in April 2025. Since then, she has released her debut album which has already garnered support from Lauren Laverne on BBC Radio 6 Music. On this week’s programme, she performs live in session and chats to Stephen about her debut album and the elements that have contributed to shaping her approach to making music.
