Who wants to play Ten To The Top?

Carol Decker from T'Pau chooses two more songs for Tracks of My Years. Plus archive treasure in Vernon's Vault and music quizzing in Ten To The Top.

Carol Decker from T'Pau chooses two more songs for this week's Tracks of My Years.

Carol formed T’Pau with guitarist and fellow songwriter Ron Rogers in 1986. Originally named Talking America, the band later changed their name to T’Pau - after a Vulcan elder in the sci-fi series Star Trek. Success came early to the band with the single ‘Heart and Soul’ in 1987, helped by its inclusion in a jeans commercial.

Their follow up single ‘China in Your Hand’ was a huge success in the UK, spending a total of five weeks at number one on the singles charts. Debut album 'Bridge of Spies' went quadruple platinum and featured a total of five hit singles, including ‘I Will Be with You’, ‘Sex Talk’, and ‘Valentine’.

Carol has also developed a name for herself on stage and screen, and has appeared on television shows including Hit Me, Baby, One More Time, Trigger Happy TV, and Just the Two of Us. She's also trod the boards in London in the play Mum’s the Word, and recently Carol was a guest star in the touring production of 'Now That's What I Call A Musical'.

Back in May, Carol was a guest with Vernon in the Radio 2 Piano Room, performing the classics 'China In Your Hand' and 'Heart & Soul' alongside a cover of Teddy Swims' 'Lose Control'.

Plus the mid-morning music quiz Ten To The Top, a trip in to the BBC Archive with Vernon's Vault, and the Record and Album Of The Week.
