Live from Chelmsford

Jeremy celebrates Chelmsford ahead of Radio 2 in the Park. He'll visit a secret nuclear bunker, hear about Chelmsford's role in the birth of radio, and sample local wine.

Jeremy celebrates all things Chelmsford and Essex ahead of Radio 2 in the Park. He will visit the secret nuclear bunker, maintained during the Cold War as a potential regional government headquarters. He'll hear about Chelmsford's role in the birth of radio, as well as sampling wine from a local vineyard. A local choir will join him to bring some live music. But above all, he'll hear great stories from the people of Chelmsford and help build the excitement for a great weekend of music from Hylands Park.
