Highlights from the opening day of the Premier League season. There are six matches to enjoy, including games featuring two of the newly promoted teams.

Sunderland return to the top flight after an eight-year absence and are at home to West Ham, while Burnley travel to Tottenham Hotspur, who have a new manager in Thomas Frank.

Elsewhere, Manchester City travel to Wolves, Aston Villa take on Newcastle, and Brighton host Fulham. There’s also action from the Friday night game, which sees champions Liverpool welcome Bournemouth to Anfield.
