Bafta-winning actor Suranne Jones chooses her favourite songs in this week’s Tracks of My Years.

Suranne gained initial fame for her role as Karen McDonald in "Coronation Street", twice winning the NTA Best Actress award. Her breakout role was as police killer Ruth Slater in Sally Wainwright’s critically acclaimed Unforgiven, and since then, she’s become known for her many diverse roles in televised dramas.

She's starred in critically acclaimed series like "Doctor Foster", where she earned a BAFTA for her portrayal of Gemma Foster, Anne Lister in the ground-breaking Gentleman Jack, as well as "Scott & Bailey" and "Save Me". Plus a memorable guest role in "Doctor Who".

Suranne will be reprising her role as detective Amy Silva in the edge-of-the-seat drama and Emmy-winning series ‘Vigil’, with the third series announced earlier this year, and she’s back on our screens as the British prime minister in the Netflix political thriller drama HOSTAGE.
