Can two teams carve out profits from their purchases at an antiques fair in West Yorkshire? Natasha Raskin Sharp presents alongside experts David Harper and Roo Irvine.

Natasha learns that good footwear is essential when pounding the aisles of an antiques fair. In York, she visits the workshop of cordwainer Payson Muller. Payson, a former stonemason, now uses his carving skills to make wooden lasts on which he crafts bespoke shoes.

Putting their best feet forward at the fair are two family teams. In blue are Yorkshire mum and daughter Michele and Sam. Sam reckons she’s the headstrong one and hopes that Michele will rein her in. In red are dad and daughter Suky and Serena. He wants jewellery, and she wants a Buddha!

It looks like experts Roo Irvine and David Harper have their work cut out trying to find what’s on the shopping lists. As ever, it all comes down to who makes the bigger profit or smaller loss at Caroline Hawley’s auction.
