'Put it on my head!'

“What a great footballer Brendan Bradley was!” Sean says.
Marie, Brendan's wife, has just rung in with a birthday request for him.
“I played in the same school team as Brendan Bradley," Sean says. "I was a budding outside right, and he was our centre forward. He honed his craft from the balls I floated in. He would shout, ‘Put it on my head, Coyle!’ I would put it on his head and he would put it in the onion bag. He was a prolific goalscorer, especially with the head! All from my crosses. And then of course I received a snooker injury and it put an end to my career.”
