Our 1975 Funk & Soul Gold Album is a stone-cold classic from two of the genre’s true pioneers — Gil Scott-Heron and Brian Jackson, alongside The Midnight Band. ‘The First Minute of a New Day’ is a powerful fusion of poetry, politics, and pure groove.
