Ewen Henderson celebrates the best in pipe music from Scotland and around the world. This week, he features performances from Pipe Major Iain Morrison, Donald MacPherson and Chris Armstrong. Many of the pipe tunes we’ll hear this week were written by one of Ewen’s favourite composers, Roderick Campbell, who was born in Lochbroom in 1873. Amongst Roderick’s notable compositions are Mrs Campbell Of Shinness, The Banks Of Skiach, Tulloch Castle and Loch Loskin.
