Today’s teams are shopping at a huge antiques centre in the Norfolk port town of King’s Lynn with their experts David Fergus and Caroline Hawley.
It’s got a wooden handle, a metal body and spikes – can you guess the identity of today’s mystery object? Charlie Ross quizzes punters in a Norfolk antiques centre while two teams of friends shop for bargains against the clock.
Guided by expert Caroline Hawley, students Molly and Anya go in search of a hand-decorated item and spot a colourful bowl with chips – but not the edible kind! Meanwhile, David Fergus is skippering the blue team, friends Brian and Ben. He steers them towards a remote-controlled pond yacht, but the three-figure price doesn’t float their boat!
Then, it’s off to the picturesque Lincolnshire market town of Bourne for the sale at Colin Young’s auction house. In the saleroom, Colin gives his auction estimates to Charlie before the teams’ items and their bonus buys are sold to the bidding public.
