“You were on about pigeons yesterday,” says Mickey in Fintona. “Well I found out some facts. For the first weeks they're known as ‘squabs’, and they're fed on pigeon milk.”
“Pigeon milk?” Sean says. “You’re telling me you can milk a pigeon?”
“It’s produced from the ‘crops’ of the parents” says Mickey. “It’s down their throats. Unlike other animals both the male and the female produce pigeon milk”
“But how,” says Sean, “would you get your hand down the throat?”
