Dame Sarah Connolly joins the BBC Philharmonic and Geoffrey Paterson for Ernest Chausson's lush and romantic Poème de l’amour et de la mer. Camille Saint-Saëns's spectacular Third Symphony ends this programme of French music which opens with an orchestral treat from a composer best known for his organ and choral music, Maurice Duruflé - his rarely heard Three Dances.
