Andrew Manze and the BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales perform Beethoven's masterpiece, his Missa Solemnis, with soloists Carolyn Sampson, Sophie Harmsen, Ed Lyon, and Darren Jeffery. Beethoven saw his solemn mass as his greatest achievement, and critics have gone one step further, considering it one of the greatest mass settings ever written. In the iconic setting of Llandaff Cathedral, and with Andrew Manze at the helm, this is sure to be a night to remember.
