'This criticism of my quizzing is unwarranted!'

‘We’ve got breaking news today!’ Sean says. ‘Barney Sloan has issued a statement. He’s annoyed with Lawrence the Painter!’

Yesterday on the programme, Lawrence the Painter responded to Barney’s quiz question, ‘what two letters can go before CAR and ABLE to make two new words?’

‘You tell barney I also watch the 1% Club’ said Lawrence, ‘and the answer is V and I, VIABLE and VICAR. I didn't expect Barney to give an easier question today!’

‘Poor Barney is taking it very badly,’ Sean says. ‘He’s called it “unwarranted criticism”! He says he’s never watched it!’
