“I’m in shock at the price of timber!” Sean says. He’s just been installing new decking at the house. “And now I’m wondering what the difference is between timber and lumber?”

“Well Sean. Actually I’m an aircraft fitter to trade,” says Philip in Banbridge. “I think it’s lumber in the USA. Don’t talk about the price of decking. I bought 5 pieces of American Black Walnut for a custom desk top. £400. Ouch.”
