Family Fund
National disability charity Family Fund offers essential items to disabled young people reaching adulthood, through its Your Opportunity scheme. Grants help families on low incomes afford things which these young people need to thrive.
Meet Nur

Nur is a sociable young woman with a rare metabolic condition that causes learning disability and severe pain. Her wrists were so weak she couldn’t turn the wheels of her unsuitably heavy chair, leaving her isolated and dependent on her mum.
Life-changing grants

Family Fund gifted Nur a new, light-weight wheelchair helping her continue to study at a specialist college. Grants are wide-ranging. They may be for laptops or tablets for learning, or for hobbies or day trips.
Ensuring adulthood is an opportunity

Too many young disabled adults are losing educational and social opportunities, and financial assistance. Family Fund helps young disabled adults get the support they need to reach their potential.
