Hogmanay in Ballymena!

Helen Mark presents a special edition of BBC Radio Ulster’s Ulster-Scots magazine show alongside Rab Lennox and Willie Hill.
To mark Hogmanay, the team takeover The Front Page Bar in Ballymena, with a string of guests helping to create exactly the type of atmosphere this time of year requires! Amongst those in attendance - Richard Parkes MBE (yes – he’s bringing his pipes), chef Paula McIntyre, Bake Off graduate Rebs Lightbody, The Antrim and Derry Country Fiddlers, writer Alan Miller and many others. As well as plenty of Ulster-Scots themed live music (some of it planned, some of it spontaneous!) there’s reflection on the year that was and a look to what’s in store over the next twelve months.
