Young Chorister Of The Year 2024

BBC Radio 2 has once again joined forces with BBC Songs of Praise to find the BBC Young Chorister of the Year 2024 - hosted by Rev Kate Bottley and Aled Jones.

BBC Radio 2 has once again joined forces with BBC Songs of Praise to find the best young vocal talent in the country, and now it’s time to reveal the Junior and Senior Young Choristers of the Year 2024.

Ten talented young singers have performed in the semi-finals, and from them, six are chosen to sing in the final. They’ll need to impress the expert judges, Katharine Jenkins, Yolanda Brown and Bob Chilcott.

For the final, the choristers have chosen their favourite Christmas songs and carols in order to wow the judges and take home the coveted trophy and the title of “Young Chorister of the Year 2024”.

The show culminates in the winners joining with all the singers and Aled Jones to perform a brand new arrangement of the Christmas classic ‘O Come, O Come Emmanuel’.

It’s a festive feast and a showcase of Britain’s best young vocalists.
