Poet Daljit Nagra revisits the BBC's poetry archive and selects Poetry Please: Wendy Cope.

Wendy joins Roger McGough to share a selection of her favourite poems from listeners' requests.

Wendy's choices include requests for poems by AE Housman, Philip Larkin, WH Auden, Fleur Adcock, Edna St Vincent Millay and Charles Causley.

Wendy Cope has published several volumes of poetry including Making Cocoa for Kingsley Amis and Serious Concerns.

A remarkable talent for parody and for using humour to address grave topics, she also recites some of her poetry from her collection, Anecdotal Evidence.
