His career in radio drama spanned from 1955 to 1985. A prodigious writer of screenplays, his TV credits include ‘Z Cars’ and ‘The Avengers’. In the cinema, he is known for his work on three James Bond movies, ‘Dr No’, ‘From Russia with Love’ and ‘Goldfinger’.
