'Mammy, Mammy, Mammy! It’s the clarinet man!'
Sean considers a money-making scheme involving a clarinet.
“I would love to play the clarinet,” Sean says. “If I could play the clarinet I would walk about the streets playing it with a wee dog by my side and collecting money. The children would be out playing, and they would run in and say, 'Mammy! Mammy! Mammy! It’s the clarinet man!' And then she’d give me a pound. I would play all day long.”
