In this new American version of the long-running satirical entertainment show, the host is Roy Wood Jr - comedian, Emmy-nominated documentary producer and correspondent for The Daily Show from 2015 to 2023. Roy is joined by team captains: writer, comedian and performer Amber Ruffin (Late Night with Seth Myers, The Amber Ruffin Show), and actor, writer and comedian Michael Ian Black (Viva Variety, Michael & Michael Have Issues). Joining in the fun as panellists for episode 1 are comedian Robin Thede and journalist Matt Welch. They delve into this week's news from the US.
