Eilidh Barbour introduces highlights from the third round of the Open Championship as the world’s best golfers tackle the picturesque yet fearsome Troon course on the west coast of Scotland.

Traditionally known as ‘moving day’, the third round is where players aim to rise up the leaderboard. The last time the Open was held at the course, in 2016, Sweden’s Henrik Stenson did just that, shooting a round of 68 to move one ahead of Phil Mickelson. It was a lead he wouldn’t relinquish as he went on to lift the Claret Jug for the first time.
