“Yesterday I was doing a bit of work on a man’s roof,” says Joe in Loughinisland. “The women next door came out with a bag of rubbish, put it in the bin and a had wee look up to see what I was doing. The man across the street came out to look under his car bonnet, and then up at me! And there was another woman having a look while watering the flowers on her window. They were plastic! There's a lot of—should we say—curious people about!”
“Maybe they thought you were a stranger?” Sean says. “You’re not saying they were nosey parkers?”
