As she starts her campaign, the mayor finds herself on the frontline of a democratic crisis. Filmed during a year of mounting intimidation and violence, this documentary follows Aki-Sawyerr as she fights to win a second term amid one of Sierra Leone's most fiercely contested elections since the end of the country's bloody civil war.
