“Seany boy! It’s your old mucker Tamnaherin Cowboy here!” says the Tamnaherin Cowboy. “Did you hear the one about the two pieces of tarmac sitting in the bar having a drink? The door of the bar opens and a red piece of tarmac comes in. The first piece turns to the other one and says, ‘Don’t talk to him!’ ‘Why not?” says the other one. ‘Because he’s a cycle path!’”

Mary in Hilltown rings in with another tarmac joke, which Sean reads in the voice of Roy Walker: “A man goes into a pub with a bag of tarmac on his back. ‘Would you give me a pint,’ he says, ‘And one for the road!’”
