Mobuoy dump costs revealed
The cost of repairing environmental damage caused by an illegal dump on the outskirts of Derry could be between £17 million and £700 million.
The cost of repairing environmental damage caused by an illegal dump on the outskirts of Derry could be could be between £17 million and £700 million. Experts say the Mobuoy site may contain 1.6 million tonnes of waste, including commercial and domestic waste.
A local MLA and former Environment Minister, Mark H Durkan, reiterates his call for a public inquiry in to the illegal dump. He tells North West Today major work to clean up the site 'should be an Executive priority'.
