Another murder case featuring Dr Keith Simpson, the celebrated pathologist.

In 1946, the strangled body of a hitchhiker, Dagmar Petrzywalski, is found by the roadside, her belongings strewn around.

But one thing is missing - a yellow string bag...

Later it's found in a lake miles away. But how did it get there?
