Theodora Children's Chairty
Theodora Children’s Charity have supported children from birth to adulthood in hospitals for more than 29 years. Our 22 specialist Giggle Doctors respond to each child’s needs, using their skills to bring joy and laughter, and ultimately improve children’s mental wellbeing.

Sarah’s mum told us, ‘it can’t be underestimated the fun they get out of them. No toys can replace company and laughter. You can’t put a price on happiness and fun.’
Improving Children’s mental wellbeing in hospital
By combining music, play, conversation, magic, and storytelling our 22 Giggle Doctors bring joy and laughter to children in hospital. Their parents and the staff on the ward seem to enjoy them too!
Our Giggle Doctors
Our Giggle Doctors are not volunteers. During their intensive 2 years of training they cover clinical training which helps them adapt their artistic skills to the hospital environment.
